DWD Free Pattern #16 – Easy Cardigan and Beret for Dianna Effner’s Little Darling Doll and Betsy McCall by Tonner

(And other dolls of similar size)

Here is an easy and simple cardigan I designed for Dianna Effner’s “Little Darling Doll” as well as Tonner’s 14-inch Betsy McCall series.  The cardigan can worn over dresses, skirts, blouses and other tops.  Easy simulated raglan design construction knits up quickly.  A simple ribbing is used on the sleeves and body of the cardigan. This makes it very versatile and one you can knit over and over for all of your little girls!  Easy beret style hat can be made again and again to match all of your girl's many outfits!

Rating: #1 - Easy.   Although you only need to know how to knit and purl, you must be able to read instructions, increase and decrease stitches.  Uses lace weight yarn on size 3/0 (000 or 1.5 mm) needles with gauge 14 stitches per inch and 18 rows per inch.

This is "Jane", a special club doll by Robert Tonner.  She is the same as Betsy McCall.
