Basket Weave Pullover (Jumper) for MSD sized dolls

 

This pullover (jumper) was inspired from Vogue Magazine’s Spring/Summer 2010 issue.  An unusual basket weave design, combined with a slip stitch pattern, gives this sweater a wonderful texture.  I sized it to fit several mid size ball jointed dolls such as Iplehouse, Narae, Unoa, Volks, Alice in Labyrinth, and MiniFee, and vinyl dolls such as Ellowyne Wilde.  It is a simple pattern that you can make it over and over again.  Just by choosing a different yarn, it will look entirely different.

 

Rating:  #2 – Intermediate – You must be able to read instructions, increase and decrease stitches, follow two easy stitch patterns and use a small knitting gauge.  Uses 3/0 (1.5 mm) needles with lace weight yarn from www.theknitter.com
