Inspired by a cable design from Berrocco Yarns, I designed this cropped cardigan to incorporate the floral cable to fit SD sized ball-jointed dolls such as the Large Narae, Volks SD 10 and 13, Elfdoll and vinyl dolls such as Tonner’s American Model. This one has three-quarter length sleeves finished at the bottom with an easy K1, P1 rib.  The fronts and sleeves are decorated with cable work that incorporates bobbles, giving it a floral affect and finished at the bottom with another easy rib, a K2, P2 one.  Perfect for day or evening this short cardigan can be worn with casual pants and skirts or dressy attire. 

 

Rating:  #2 – Intermediate.  You need to be able to read instructions and follow a cable pattern design, plus knit several easy bobbles.  Uses lace weight yarn on size 2/0 (1.75 mm) needles.
